Rawr!

The wonderfull Mrs. Sheree got Camden the cutest halloween costume and it got here today (along with some adorible outfits that we are thankful for). I put the head part of his lion costume on and it didn't seem to bother him. He was just jumping away and it was quite humorous to me so I thought I would share.

Oops...a little late on Camdens 6 month update

On Aug. 5th ( the day he turned 6 months old)Camden had his 6 month check up. He weighed 17 lbs 2.5 oz and was 27 1/4 inches. According to to Dr. McCown he is about 3 months ahead on his motor skills. He is crawling....kind of, and can pull himself up. Oh and he's sitting up perfectly on his own. He's just so darn cute and
I can not believe he has already been here for half a year!

Camdens new bestfriend, Britton.

Camden had his first official playdate with handsome little Britton on Friday. I can't believe I only got one picture of them because they were just so stinkin cute. Britton was very excited to see Camden and was very vocal about it. It took Cams a few minutes to get into it but when he did they were grabbing onto eachother and smiling alot. I met Brittons mommy, Ashley, while we were both still pregnant, and Britton was born only 6 days before Camden. Ashley and I hope that they grow up being friends and get along great when they are older.

Oops, gotta run...Mommy duty calls...Camden just made something for me in his diaper.

Family plus one equals bigger family

Who doesn't love grandparents? They are so sweet and love to spoil their grandkids (lucky for them they get to send the kiddos back when they are done). Camden is such a lucky little booger. He already has his 2 blood grandmas and grandpas, and he has his extra grandma from my dad. And now he gets another grandpa! I think he will be called Pops, since Cams already has his PaPa and his PawPaw Duke. Cams Pops makes his nannie super happy so he will be very welcome to join our littly nutty family...good luck there Crash. So now Camden will have THREE grandma and THREE grandpas! I'm not a math whiz but I think that ads up to SIX grandparents. Boy...my little man is going to be so spoiled!

Slow down kiddo, you're growing too fast!

I can't believe that Camden is almost 6 months old! 13 days to go and my little booger will be half a year old. I just wanted to share that he is now sitting up by himself, and without having to support himself with his hands on the ground. Also, he's working on crawling. He can scoot and has gotten up on his hands and knees, he just can't get the hang of what comes next.

Good thing tomorrow is Friday

I should have been in bed almost 2 hours ago but I'm staying up to keep an eye on Cams. Last night his feet and legs swelled and kept getting worse, so I drug him out at midnight to get Benadryl. Well, he had a reaction to that which freaked me out so I had Waylon come home from work. Now tonight his feet have been swelling a little and he has a rash on his wrist. I talked to his wonderful pediatrician today and he just told me to watch to see if it happens again, so I guess I'll have to give him a call and bring him in tomorrow. We haven't used anything new, so I have no clue as to what could be causing it.

So here I am, sitting up to make sure the swelling doesn't spread anywhere else, while he's peacefully sleeping. Last night I was up till 2am. I'm glad tomorrow is friday. Shouldn't someone have told me about all this scary stuff? Thanks for the notice people.
